Elections Office Cayman Islands
The Elections Office is an agency of the Cayman Islands Government committed to promoting democracy through ensuring a fair electoral process
The Cayman Islands Constitution requires a boundary review process every eight years. The Electoral Boundary Commission (EBC) is responsible for the review of electoral boundaries to ensure that each electoral district has a fair and equal representation of voters. The EBC's recommendations for changes to the electoral boundaries must be presented to the Governor, who is responsible for forwarding them to the Parliament.
The EBC is holding district meetings to allow voters to learn more about the current electoral districts and the boundary review process. These meetings allow everyone to have their voices heard and help shape future electoral districts in the Cayman Islands. Take advantage of this opportunity to be part of the conversation and make a difference.
